Ages 4+
4 year old ‘Kangaroo‘ program for 2024 and 2025:
Monday 9.00am to 3.00pm (6 hours)
Tuesday 9.00am to 3.00pm (6 hours)
Thursday 9.00am to 12.00pm (3 hours) *
* With the option to add an extra afternoon session from 12.00pm to 3.00pm on Thursdays for an additional fee of $350 in 2025.
The Thursday morning session is our popular Explorer Program which is an offsite session, based on the bush block located on the left-hand side of the community oval. At times we will also explore the grounds of the primary school. The children are encouraged to explore the natural space and this might include bush craft, climbing trees and challenging their gross motor muscles, identifying the abundance of animal scat, wildlife, bird and flowers, observing the changes around us and connecting to country.

Each program consists of its own weekly theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week.
No Jab No Play
Kangaroo Ground Preschool complies with the government’s “No Jab No Play” legislation. Please ensure your child’s immunisation status is up to date as supporting documentation will be required upon enrolment. More information regarding this topic can be found at www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au
School Preparedness
Our play-based Kangaroo Program is designed to start preparing your child for starting school. We pride ourselves on keeping the curriculum fun for our young learners, while at the same time providing the children with the support and skills they will need as they move on to primary school.
We have a close relationship with Kangaroo Ground Primary School, and surrounding primary schools, so we can help support each child’s orientation towards the end of the year and help to make each child’s transition to primary school as smooth as possible.
